The extreme nature of an often tumultuous sea with unceasing motion, is a frequent source of inspiration for the artist who enjoys the varied nature and changeability of the sea, that can in one moment be life giving and the next treacherous, which seems to reflect the changeable nature of life.
In these images the sea is seen here in raging torment with sea birds tossed around in the stormy skies above this unforgiving sea. Alongside these images is a series of pictures created for an exhibition in 2017 which were inspired by the moon Titan that orbits Saturn where it thought methane Seas flow on the surface and that this environment might harbour life.
