River Scenes

River Scene Art Prints
The mighty river Thames flows past the artist house and is therefore a source of inspiration to much of his art, with the river seen in all its moods and shades and from several different perspectives.

The river has been a conduit for transport and a main though fare for London’s trade and a great deal of industry has built up along its banks which sometimes features in these pictures. However as the Thames industrial past gives way to gentler use, we see a return of nature with river scenes rich in wild life, with wild birds and abundant vegetation taking issue with the mechanical and industrial past

The constant motion of the river also plays a part as an inspirational source, as the seemingly ageless river constantly changing but forever remaining, seems to make a more sober backdrop to the frenetic pace of human activity alongside it.
